Use the skills without an account
The skills also work without a Foundation account. Your assistant does the research and hands you a project file to import later.
You don't need a Foundation account to use the skills. Without one, your assistant still does the analyst's work:
- picks the right cost categories for your business;
- researches costs, prices and competitors;
- structures every input, with a note on where it came from;
- sizes your market and prepares the competitor benchmark.
What it won't do is invent the financial results. Profit, NPV, IRR, payback and break-even need a real calculation, and a language model is not a calculator. So instead of made-up results, you get a file.
How it works
Install the skills
npx skills add mamarexa/foundation-skillsOr copy the folders from the repository into your assistant's skills folder. The README lists the folder for each assistant.
Ask for a feasibility study
Your assistant will say it isn't connected to Foundation, and carry on anyway.
Get your project file
At the end, it writes foundation-project.json with every input it prepared. It also gives you a summary of the inputs and the questions that will decide whether the business works.
Import it to get the results
Import the file into Foundation. The engine computes every result, and you can keep editing in the app.
The business plan and pitch deck skills can still produce Word and PowerPoint files without an account, but the financial pages will show your inputs rather than computed results. Import the project first if you want the full financial chapter.
Use the skills with Foundation
Five open-source skills that make your AI assistant work like a feasibility consultant, using your real Foundation project and its calculations.
Import a project file
