Write your business plan with your own AI

Why we recommend writing your business plan with your own assistant and our skill, rather than the Generate button in the app.

The Business Plan step in the app has a Generate business plan button. It works: it saves a Word file on your project, and every figure in it comes from your study. But it runs on a low-cost model, because Foundation is free and we keep our costs down.

If you use Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant with a frontier model, you'll get a noticeably better plan by having your assistant write it, connected to your Foundation project and following our business plan skill.

How to do it

Connect Foundation

Follow Connect your AI.

Install the business plan skill

npx skills add mamarexa/foundation-skills

Or install only the business-plan-writer folder from the repository.

Ask for the plan

Write a business plan for my Foundation project "Corner Café" for a bank loan application. Give me a Word file.

The assistant reads your project and results, asks you a few questions, writes the plan, and checks the file visually before handing it over.

The skill also works without Foundation, but its financial chapter then shows your inputs only. See Use the skills without an account.
